Connection Charges Controller (Belfast)

VANRATH is pleased to be recruiting for a leading Utilities Organisation based in Belfast for a Connection Charges Controller for a 6 month fixed term contract with a strong potential for this being extended. The Connection Charges Controller will have the opportunity to gain experience within a highly motivated and results orientated team.

Responsibilities:

Duties include:

  • Continually review our commercial offering under the guidelines as set out by our pricing policy
  • Prepare revisions to the Statement of Charges for Connection for approval with internal stakeholders and the Utility Regulator
  • Analyse our costs base to ensure our rates are reflective of our costs
  • To maintain our rates within our estimating database
  • Collaborate with all functions that impact our cost base and our business partners in Finance, Legal and Regulation
  • Any other duties as required

The Ideal Person:

  • Proven substantial experience and track record operating within a similar environment demonstrating your ability to meet the demands of this role
  • Proven extensive experience of monitoring costs in a commercial environment and taking responsibility for settling prices that ensure the commercial success of the business
  • Proven ability to produce fact-based and insightful data analysis that informs colleagues about their contribution to the success of the business and enables managers to plan future strategies
  • A third level qualification in Electrical Engineering or Business Administration would be desirable

Remuneration:

£26,000 – £35,000
