Community Inclusion & Progression Support Worker – Orchardville
Orchardville is a registered charity under the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland. We have been suppporting people with Learning Disabilities and / or Autism in employment in Belfast for over 35 years. Founded in 1982 by a group of parents and carers who sought a more challenging alternative to Day Centres, Orchardville has continued to grow geographically and the services offered have developed and expanded substantially over the years.
Salary: £8.86 per hour + 7% non-contributory pension scheme (after qualifying period).
Hours: 27.5 hours per week (5.5 hours per day Monday – Friday)
This post will be offered on a Maternity Leave Cover basis.
The post-holder will:
Work as part of the Community team by providing one-to-one support to a participant with learning disability and / or autism to enable them to access group activities and maximise their individual potential. Activities will promote greater independence, confidence and the development of new skills.
