COMMERCIAL LAWYER (3+ PQE AGILE WORKING )

VANRATH are delighted to be recruiting for a Commercial Contracts Solicitor on behalf of our client a leading Global Legal firm for their growing legal team in Belfast. With a presence across the globe they have a renowned reputation as market leaders. The Commercial Contracts Solicitor will take a leading role within the due diligence team working on high profile cross border projects for multinational companies and household names.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, negotiate, assess and review commercial contracts within due diligence legal team
  • Advise clients on a broad range of legal issues across a variety of industries in relation to a broad range of commercial contracts (IP/IT/Data Protection/Banking/DD)
  • To identify key value issues in the overall context of the deal
  • To supervise and mentor junior lawyers
  • Build and maintain key relationships

The Ideal Person:

The successful candidate will be an experienced Commercial Lawyer with a minimum of 3+ years PQE and excellent academic credentials. Previous due diligence experience is preferred. You should have an ability to use IT platforms and large databases. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team. They will possess a forensic mind-set with a keen eye for detail and excellent technical knowledge. Although an innovative, fast-paced environment the role boasts agile working and an excellent work life balance.

Remuneration:

Salary will be negotiable and tailored to attract the strongest Candidate in the local market.
