MCS Group is working in partnership with a major pharmaceuticals client to recruit a Capital Projects Leader for their site in Northern Ireland

MCS Group is delighted to be representing our client based in Northern Ireland in their search for a senior professional who can take a leadership role in their Capital Projects Team

Do you want the opportunity to oversee a multi-million-pound capital investment programme in a global pharmaceutical industry, whilst leading a team of Project Managers to deliver this exciting high value programme?

You will be joining the company at a time when the business is growing and going through a significant change programme, hence you will have the opportunity to play a significant role with access to the Leadership team who make decisions fast!

In this role, you will work cross-functionally and lead the implementation of the Capital programme, overseeing the completion of existing projects and taking ownership of end-to-end project management of new infrastructure projects in a multi-million-pound capital investment programme.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will lead multidisciplinary teams (internally and external consultants, as required) to complete projects on time and within budget

The candidate

  • Significant experience of successfully leading Capital projects, teams & on-time delivery within budget, with excellent leadership skills and the demonstrated ability to lead cross functional project teams, alongside managing direct and indirect reports
  • Proven ability to lead multiple capital projects simultaneously, using project management tools
  • Ability to scope project from initiation including scope identification, project plan, resources and costs, whilst executing capital projects in a regulated industry, within delivery time frame and maintaining highest level of Quality standards
  • Experienced in successful project handover procedures, Proven knowledge of FAT and SAT procedures and understanding of validation protocols and change control processes
