A public sector organisation in the heart of the city centre is seeking a C# developer with ideally 2-3 years' experience

C# Developer – £30,000 – until March 2019, with high possibly of extension

Your new company
A public sector organisation in the heart of the city centre is seeking a C# developer with ideally 2-3 years’ experience to join their already established team on an initial contract. This is due to increased success willing contracts which have resulted in increased work load.

Your new role
You will be required to fulfil the need for a WPF enterprise application C# developer to work in support of the in-house developed applications, primary making code fixes and adding system enhancements as required. You will also act as mentor to junior staff so the ideal candidate would be passionate about managing a small team.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • The ability to work successfully in isolation and as part of a group is critical.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to discuss technical matters in a non-technical language to the business and understand and discuss basic architectural patterns with other developers.
  • Experience of and involvement in peer reviews is desirable as is any previous commercial experience of enforcing and policing coding practices within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of C# Object Orientated Programming, MVVM design principles, structured code design within a WPF enterprise application development;
  • Solid encounters working in Agile/Scrum Methodology to a scrum master and a contributing to sprint planning.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, or related field


  • .Net (c#, vb.net), WinForms, WPF, MVVM design patterns good OOP knowledge and SOA experience are essential.
