C#.net Developer – New Holywood offices
C#.net Developer required for one of VANRATH’s most exciting exclusive product based Software houses. With a small tight knit team they are keen to hire a mid level C# developer to the team . This is a company to watch with massive expansion plans over the next 12 months .
Capture business requirements from key stakeholders
Translate and breakdown requirements into manageable development tasks
Utilise technical knowledge so that tasks are concise, related and appropriate
Plan and allocate development tasks during development cycles
Prioritise tasks dependent on timelines defined by the stakeholders
Facilitate the timely completion of tasks within cycles and remove blockers
Review all work at the end of each cycle so as to verify tasks meet requirements
Enforce regular deployments of coded, tested and usable pieces of project software
Aid in the investigation and diagnosis of undesirable functionality withinlive systems
Identify, plan, allocate &prioritise tasks to implement fixes within ongoing cycles
Communicate feedback to stakeholders on progress and provide demonstrations
Provide infrequent out-of-hours response and support for any issues requiring your input
Build and maintain effective work relationships within and outside of the development teams
This is an interesting and diverse technical role for an individual who has experience as a Software Developer, with solid development experience wishing to progress into a more product lead direction.Day to day you will be working within the Development team;directing, managing, prioritising and enabling progression on all software development projects towards the company vision. It will be your responsibility to make sure that development moves forward in the right direction at the right speed to achieve deadlines while producing high quality software products. You will need to be able to work in a challenging environment to develop new software and support our live applications, ensuring such runs smoothly at all times with the functionality intended.
The Ideal Person:
This role would suit a mid-level Software Developer with strong application lifecycle management experience and a solid knowledge of good development processes, who can grow and develop in this exciting opportunity with a new young company working in cutting .
2-4 years but someone with 1 years solid commercial experience can also be considered.
3rd Level Qualification
Rock solid Windows Software Development background including general IT
Exposure to Web & Enterprise solution development
Experience developing and interacting with RDBMS data stores
Proficiency in effectively utilising Application Lifecycle Management tools
Nice to haves
Knowledge of common Web browsers and developing UI/UX against them
Experience with Development Stacks
Experience using Visual Studio (preferably 2017)
.NET Framework, MVC, SQL Server, EF, IIS, WCF, SOAP/REST, XML/JSON
Working with Git repositories& branching models
Windows Clients; Windows 7, 8.1 & 10
Windows Servers; 2012 R2 & 2016
Exposure to developing for Mobile devices
Experience using Team Foundation Server
Worked within Continuous Integration & Improvements methodologies
Previously worked on data integration and standardisation projects
Knowledge of satellite, streaming media or global broadcasters
Experience in the gaming industry
Interest in sports
