Reports To: Head of Continental Europe (Bonn), CITO (Holywood)            

Working Hours: 35 hours per week

Job Overview

We are looking for individuals with a passion for technology and problem solving, ideally with solid academic foundations in at least one or more of the following disciplines, IT, Business Operations or Accounting.

As a Business Analyst you will perform an important role bridging the gap between Business requirements and IT solutions. In this role you will be creating solution outlines/definitions, providing end user training, hosting workshops/ requirements gathering meetings and creating supporting documentation.

As a Business Analyst, you will be expected to understand our clients’ requirements and develop these requirements into functional IT solutions.  An ideal candidate will have excellent problem solving and analytical skills, and an ability to develop solutions from both a technical and business viewpoint.

This role requires a highly motivated individual who has a willingness to apply their current skills to help our clients meet their business goals of improving IT infrastructure in their businesses.  Successful candidates must be able to learn on-the-job and undertake training provided internally; and to contribute to their own learning through natural a curiosity to learn.

Training will be provided to successful applicants with the correct behavioural and cultural fit.

Main Duties

  • Provide ERP functional expertise to support NetSuite ERP implementation, configuration and system maintenance
  • Organise and Conduct workshops with the client displaying knowledge of the application and the business environment to define the client’s requirements
  • Analyse business requirements to understand the client’s needs and apply ERP expertise on to determine how NetSuite can best fulfill those requirements
  • Advising client on dependencies, priorities, available solutions and the associated risks and costs
  • Develop NetSuite solutions by applying understanding of the NetSuite system and business processes
  • Consider the best solution architecture when solutioning business requirements
  • Support clients with data migration tasks
  • Analyse impacts of a solution across the business and develop use cases to explain these clearly to the client
  • Ensure quality of written requirements/documentation can easily be followed by users, and translated to test plans
  • Outline user acceptance testing, upgrades and documentation
  • Contribute to internal projects and presales demonstrations
  • Mentor and work alongside other team members sharing ERP and NetSuite experience
  • Take lead on understanding latest NetSuite Release features and willing to take NetSuite certification exams to enhance system expertise

Essential Criteria

  • Fluent in English and German (Location – Bonn)
  • Strong analytical skills combined with excellent written skills to develop documentation
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Processes and ERP Solution
  • Ability to understand, explain and address business needs
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work with “C” level people in board room environments
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with a wide variety of clients
  • Ability to produce work on time and work to deadlines
  • Expertise in products such as Excel, core Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs etc.

Preferred Criteria

  • University Degree in a business / finance related subject field preferred
  • Experience working with and implementing ERP software preferred
  • Listening, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
