The Cedar Foundation is seeking to recruit the following staff members:

 

 

Bank Project Officer                                   REF: 18-144-BPO-WEB

 

 

Purpose of the Job: 

Cedar is contracted by the Department the Economy to provide Disability Support for Participants and Training Providers engaged in Training for Success and ApprenticeshipsNI.

Bank Project Officers are required to:

–       provide a flexible range of person-centered assistance and supports to young people with disabilities engaged in Training for Success and ApprenticeshipsNI programmes.

–        work with Training Providers to enhance the support required by participants with disabilities to help them achieve the best possible outcomes

 

 

Hours:                        As and when required

Contract:                    Ongoing

Location:                    Various locations across Northern Ireland which including Newry, Belfast and Derry

Office bases:

Salary:                        £11.27 per hour

 

 

 

Essential Criteria:    

 

  • Minimum QCF level 5/Degree or equivalent level professional qualification

AND

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in delivering training or providing learning support

OR

  • Minimum QCF level 3 or equivalent

AND

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as above in delivering training or providing learning support

 

  • Ability to support young people with behaviours that challenge
  • Ability to build good rapport with young people.
  • Full current driving licence with access to a vehicle for work purposes

 

This criterion will be waived in the case of a suitable applicant who has a disability which prohibits them from driving but who is able to organise suitable alternative arrangements in order to meet the requirements of the post in full

 

 

 

 

 

 

           

 

 

Desirable Criteria:

                       

  • Teaching or training qualification
  • Experience of working with people with disabilities or other disadvantaged groups
  • Experience of supporting employers or training organisations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access
