We are looking for a talented Warehouse Support Co-Ordinator, interested in working in a highly automated warehouse environment, who is keen to join a “best-in-class” manufacturing company with an excellent reputation for staff development and retention.

This is a unique opportunity for perhaps a “technically-minded” Graduate to integrate a technical and engineering skills-set into a Supply Chain Support role.   The appointee will be offered an opportunity to gain considerable automation exposure in one of the leading Irish/UK operations at the cutting edge in manufacturing.

The Role:

You will be responsible for maximising plant availability on a daily basis, ensuring agreed service targets and KPIs are achieved by:

  • Achieving minimal downtime of plant
  • Resolving equipment stoppages through timely diagnosis and resolution of minor technical issues
  • Escalating major technical issues to Shift Technicians ensuring a rapid response and assist where required
  • Organising and supervising external maintenance contractors when needed
  • Driving a continuous improvement for the plant

The Person:

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Ability to provide proactive, technical support to warehouse operations, looking at the entire plant efficiency and identifying issues and causes of work flow progress
  • Machine operation experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG
  • Ability to analyse data, produce and present reports
  • Excellent IT skills – highly competent using M’Soft PowerPoint & Excel
  • Strong investigative, diagnostic and trouble shooting skills
