Area Manager - Security - £22,000 to £30,000
My client is an established local company providing a comprehensive range of soft services including Security, Cleaning, Catering, to private and public sector organisations across Northern Ireland.
They now seek to recruit an Area Security Manager to oversee the day to day operations of a team of 50 full time guards working across a variety of sites from high profile clients, manufacturing sites, carparks, call centres, property management companies.
Key responsibilities: –
– Co-ordinating daily rotas for various locations across the province
– Processing staff payroll, authorising holidays, absence management
– Recruiting, training and developing staff including succession planning
– Liaising with clients on a regular basis
– Invoice control
– SIA license management checks
– Conducting audits to help improve standards
You will manage manned guarding, front of house/concierge and customer service positions. During site visits you will liaise with clients, building good relationships to ensure contract satisfaction. You will also help set up and establish new sites introducing best practice policies and procedures.
You will be a natural leader with drive and enthusiasm that can get the best out of people on your team, always encouraging teamwork. You will have proven customer service management skills gained in a fast-paced environment. You will enjoy multi-tasking, problem-solving and have ability to work across multiple locations.
You will have proven training and development experience. Be technically proficient and detailed in approach to finding solutions. Setting your own high standards you will encourage others to take pride in their work. You must have good IT skills, good command of English and good interpersonal skills. SIA License not critical, can be studied for.
Ideally you will have previous security experience, but not essential, what is important is people management experience gained in a service environment maybe retail, warehousing, hospitality, catering etc.
Starting salary £22,000 to £25,000 depending on skills and experience. This is a full-time permanent role. 40 hours, Mon – Fri 8am – 4pm, 28 days holiday, pension. Company vehicle supplied, Full driving license required. Head Office based in Belfast.
