Reed Accountancy & Finance are working with a well-established and reputable client within the property industry, and are recruiting for an Accounts Administrator to join their team. This is a full time permanent opportunity.

Working closely with the Company Accountant, duties will involve:

Recording rental income on a daily basis, cash, cheques, bank transfers, Direct Debits & credit cards
Managing rental repairs and entering contractor invoices on a daily basis
Reconciling contractor statements
Preparation of daily bank lodgements if required
Rent arrears management
Entering new rental lease information
Raising sales fee accounts (Sage)
Processing supplier invoices (Sage)
Recording and sending out standing order mandates to banks
Collection of direct debits
Filing and providing support as required

This is a varied role with daily, weekly and monthly tasks together with ad hoc day to day duties which will arise.

Candidates will be able to multi task, will have a good working knowledge of accounting systems, ideally Sage, and will have the confidence to deal with tenants and landlords on a daily basis.

Candidates will work in a small team environment.
