DESCRIPTION

Excellent opportunity for an Accounts Administrator based in Belfast.

Granning Lynx NI Ltd is looking for a highly motivated person to join their company as an accounts administrator in their office in Belfast.  The successful candidate will work alongside 7 other sales and warehouse staff in our battery and aftermarket parts division on a temporary full time basis to cover maternity leave. The position is expected to be at least a 1 years contract.

The successful candidate will be dealing with all aspects of the administration of this busy and rapidly expanding business within the Granning Group.

You will also work alongside the sales team with regard to daily/monthly sales analysis and reporting.

Duties will include:

  • Reconciliation of sales ledger: processing invoices and statements & dealing with customer enquiries. All Credit control duties.
  • Reconciliation of Purchase ledger : Posting invoices to the purchase ledger, handling reconciliations to supplier statements and raising payments for both imports and exports in multiple currencies.
  • Data entry for goods inwards – GRNs etc.
  • Daily bank reconciliations – preparation of daily lodgements, Invoice discounting through HSBC.
  • Preparing VAT returns and HMRC forms/Cash flow preparation
  • Month end close downs and preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Pegasus Opera Experience would be advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • 3 – 4 years industry experience
  • Qualified Accounting technician would be an advantage
  • Requirements:
  • High self-motivation & exemplify a high degree of personal integrity and interpersonal skills & abilities
  • A team player with strong administration skills
  • Strong Experience required in Ms Office will be required
  • Strong attention to detail

The position will be based in York Street, Belfast & Hours of work are 9a.m to 5. p.m.  Monday to Friday.

Salary £20-£22k depending on experience
