Based in Titanic Quarter, Belfast, overlooking the River Lagan, my client is focused on transformative innovations and payments, seeking an experienced UX Engineer who’s passionate about providing a best-in-class user experience to their customers. You’ll make bold decisions, demonstrate close attention to detail, show a desire to understand your customers, and consequently design interfaces that are functional, simple, yet beautiful and easy to use.
Your new role
It’s a pivotal role. It’s down to you to create experiences that users will find ease and pleasure in using. You’ll develop original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex user scenarios, executing all visual design stages from concept, wireframes, prototypes and mockups to final hand-off to engineers. You’ll collaborate with tech support to ensure the UX is well understood, documented and supported, providing guidance, training and best practices to Product Owners, Architects and Engineers. What you’ll need to succeed
You’ll need a degree or similar in a discipline related to Visual Communications, Interactive Multimedia, Human Computer Interaction, Design, Writing or related field. In addition, you’ll need 2+ years’ experience delivering complex software design projects in web design, UI design (or related field).
