The Company:

My client is a leading Fleet Management company based on the outskirts of the city.  Providing Transport Services to customers all across Northern Ireland, the company has experienced high success and has continual growth year on year.  Due to expansion my client has a requirement for a Transport Co-Ordinator to further enhance the Transport Service Team.

The Job:

Reporting to the Transport Manager, the role of the Transport Co-Ordinator will include the following duties:

  • Liaising with customers and drivers ensuring a professional, efficient, cost-effective service is provided at all times
  • Associated administrative duties e.g. order processing, delivery/project completion documentation, invoicing, tracking
  • KPI reporting
  • Operating the clients ERP System to track service delivery times or flag any issues with the service level available
  • Alert drivers of changes to schedules
  • Provide the highest level of customer service and obtain detailed information from the customer, resolving any issues that may arise in a fast, efficient and professional manner.
  • Maintain a polite, highly efficient and accurate service at all times in a high pressured and fast paced environment. 

The Person:

It is anticipated the candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Computer literacy is essential with emphasis on MS Word and Excel.  Previous use of transport management software is also essential
  • GCSE English and Mathematics (Grade C and above)
  • Will display a sound geographical knowledge and previous experience in co-ordinating the delivery of goods and Services in the UK
  • Will display previous working experience in a fast-paced Transport Office.


Hours of Work:  Monday to Friday 8am to 5:30pm

Salary: £18,000-£22,000pa depending on experience

The Reward: 

  • Salaries will be depending on experience and qualifications, however a salary range of £18 – £22K is available to the successful candidate.
