TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST

Technical Business Analyst (Contract)

My client is one of largest UK-wide success stories in the eCommerce space. Now, in yet another period of growth and accomplishment, there is an unbelievable opportunity for a Technical Business Analyst to join their team to work on a critical project worth millions. The Technical Business Analyst will be involved in eCommerce, Finance, ERP, Logistics and Warehousing automation.

Although one of the largest online retailers in the world, this NI home-grown success story still has a family feel to it. The Technical Business Analyst will be on contract for 6-9 months (with the strong potential of renewal) in their Centre of Excellence. We have placed a number of people for this particular project and feedback has been excellent to date.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Design functional business solutions; produce requirement catalogues and definition of requirements.
  • Working with the business and IT stakeholders (including third parties) to define and implement timely solutions to business problems.
  • Analyse the scale and impact of the business change from the perspective of people, process, technology and data
  • Collaborate with the PM and business stakeholders to plan the business analysis activities.
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of tools, techniques and best practice.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Experience of BA in a software development environment
  • Experience of working to project plans and handling change controls
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate large volumes of data leading to data migration projects
  • The ability to produce business process and technical documentation to a very high standard.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

  • Understanding of ERP system processes
  • System Integrations experience
  • SQL query execution and database analysis
  • Agile development methodology experience
  • Knowledge of Jira or similar requirement tools
  • Relevant Business Analysis qualifications
  • Stakeholder management experience

RENUMERATION
£35,000- £40,000
