Systems Developer - Derry - £Negotiable

REED Technology Belfast are delighted to partner with a fantastic Software House who are leading the way, innovating for the future and developing the best products in a unique market sector for their global customers.

Due to continued growth they are now in a position to recruit an experienced System Developer to join their excellent team.

As a System Developer you will work within the development team, working on a cloud based software platform you will be involved in the production of cutting edge, innovative solutions for the organisation customers.

This is a key role within the business and as a result we are seeking candidates who have experience in the following areas:


  • Create scoping plans for new tools being developed and communicate to the Senior Developer any ideas or issues.
  • Complete improvements to the current system as directed by the Senior Developer.
  • Create and complete testing scripts on code to ensure what has been developed operates as expected.
  • Keep the project management system up-to-date with current progress so all team members are aware of the status of development.
  • Take part in innovation and strategy meetings to help guide the direction of the system and the business.
  • Work closely with the commercial team to understand what our clients need and how best to service them through the system.

Essential Criteria

  • Relevant 3rd level qualification
  • Experience in .NET framework, C#, JQuery, SQL Server
  • JSON, mobile development experience
  • Experience designing and developing systems from concept through to customer delivery
