VANRATH are proud to have an exclusive opportunity for a talented Software Developer specialising in .Net to join an industry leading client as they continue to expand their team here in Northern Ireland

Responsibilities:

You will be joining a small and dynamic development team as an experienced Full Stack .Net Developer to deliver solutions for a range of projects as well as the development of bespoke web applications. You will work on the full software delivery life cycle from business analysis to design and test. The client is a local success story working in the dynamic sector of Actuarial science. With continued expansion plans over the next few years the client is keen to secure the very best talent and has gained a fantastic reputation for staff satisfaction and retention over the last few years.

The Ideal Person

Essential:

  • Third level Computer Science or Software Engineering qualification
  • 2-3 years experience
  • Solid knowledge of C# .NET

Desirable:

  • NET MVC 5.0
  • NET Web Forms
  • Web API
  • WCF
  • An understanding of design patterns and their application in C#
  • Experience of working with Visual Studios 2017
  • Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
  • Transact SQL
  • Entity Framework Code First
  • JQuery/JavaScript
  • Bootstrap
  • XML, XSLT
  • NUnit/XUnit
  • Experience using JIRA
  • Microsoft Azure Cloud experience
  • .Net Core
  • UI-UX design experience
  • Crystal Reports
  • TDD
  • Microsoft Certification
