Your new company, who currently require a Site Engineer have been operating successfully in all sectors of Northern Ireland construction including commercial, education, healthcare, conservation and listed buildings, sports and leisure, community, industrial and residential building. With a number of live sites across Ireland, your new company have a busy order book for 2018/2019 and now require a Site Engineer. With a particular focus on housing projects, your new employer has steadily grown and will continue to do so given the quality of works produced and excellent client service offered.
Your new role
As Site Engineer your role will be based across 2 housing sites in Ireland located very close together consisting of rapid build houses. You will be expected to help from initial site set up using a Total Station to set out foundations, draining, kerbing and ensuring reduced levels are accurate. Reporting to the Site Manager you will be tasked with ensuring that programme, quality and cost targets are achieved in accordance with the build programme, through the effective management of sub-contractors. You will also ensure that Health & Safety is adhered to and that Senior Management is updated on Site progress.
What you’ll need to succeed
Applicants must be degree qualified or have suitable experience as a Site Engineer on housing or commercial builds, however, experience with differing sectors will be considered. Further to this, our client is seeking to employ a qualified Site Engineer who is fully aware of recent health and safety legislation, capable in setting out and holds attention to detail to the highest regard and is capable of completing work on time, within budget and to the highest quality.
