They are now recruiting in Belfast for a Senior Software Engineer to work on a team developing Software Components that are supplied into their stored value gateway supporting merchants Gift and Loyalty programs including integrations with the leading mobile wallet providers. Your new role
The C++ Developer hired into this team will be one of the first people appointed to work on this product in Belfast. As a result this is an opportunity for fast track promotion, something that this company are renowned for. What will you do? You will develop primarily using the C and C++ programming languages combined with this you will be responsible for utilising a variety of web protocols to integrate capabilities to this companies stored value gateway and portals There is opportunity to mentor and develop more junior members of the team as it grows, in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle, instilling best practices and a commitment to quality in all deliverables.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will need to be confident in your skills as a developer and have a passion for and self-motivated interest in Software Development as a profession, not just a job. At interview you should be able to demonstrate an analytical, problem-solving and inquisitive mind. My client are looking for team players with a a desire to learn and a willingness to teach and mentor as part of a team.
