The Company

Brightwater have been retained by a National Consultancy Company who operate throughout 10 offices in the UK and employee over 1000 talented individuals. The creation of a new office in Belfast will provide a range of construction related services including Structural Engineers. This is an excellent opportunity for talented professionals to join a leading organisation at the start of their new Belfast venture.

 

The Role

Working within the QS team who work on a range of commercial projects including Infrastructure, health care and civil projects the Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for:

  • To take responsibility for the full cost management of multi-million post contract works including reporting to Clients.
  • To regularly update Director’s on the progress of projects and provide high quality information to assist the business in decision-making.
  • To be comfortable taking a brief from clients, acting upon it and producing best practice solutions for the clients.
  • To gain the confidence of the client and become the focal point for communication.
  • Demonstrates good knowledge of clients, competitors, client care policy.
  • To seek out potential business development opportunities or leads and either follow through or inform senior management.
  • Work standard to meet and follow both the quality standards expected of a qualified RICS Surveyor.

The Person

The requirements for the Assistant Project Manager Civil Engineer job will have the following essential requirements:

  • Minimum of Degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • Pre and Post Contract experience in commercial, civil or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience of NEC contracts.
  • Chartered Surveyor ideally with RICS.
  • Commercial aware.

 

The Reward

 

A salary in the range of £40,000 – £60,000 for the right candidate depending on experience.
