Our client researches and develops innovative, high quality solutions designed to make diagnostic testing more accurate. They are now looking for a number of R&D Scientists to join their team in Crumlin.

As an R&D Scientist, you’ll support the design and development of our client’s In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) products. 

In this key role, you’ll be involved in the design of novel particle enhanced immunoassays for a range of chemiluminescent and photometric analysers.

You’ll support all aspects of the product development process, from product concept, feasibility and optimisation, through to design verification and clinical validation. 

Additionally, you will: 

– Support product post commercialisation 
– Generate comprehensive verification and validation data packages
– Co-ordinate external clinical trials 

To be considered, you will need:  

– A BSc in a biomedical or life science subject  
– A comprehensive understanding of immunoassay principles  
– Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook  

Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, as an R&D Scientist, you’ll have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You’ll also be able to work independently and within a multidisciplinary research team.
