Process Engineer (Larne)

Want to work for top 100 company? We’re working with an exceptional local business in their search for a new head to their team. It’s a large SME with circa 200 staff, and they are looking to invest in growth to ensure a long term sustainable growth plan. They’re taking on a process engineer to work on a permanent basis at their production site in Larne, in an experienced, friendly and results focused team.

Your new role
As a Process Engineer you will be responsible for providing engineering solutions and aid in the development of process plans, design and material handling methodologies. You will coordinate external contractor installation and actively promote safe working practices across the organisation, providing excellent customer care whilst doing so. Building and maintaining solid relationships with customers, internal and external stakeholders is a key part of the role. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company within a varied role and contribute to continuous improvements to process and the plant.

What you’ll need to succeed
3rd level qualification in Chemical, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering, or equivalent

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in process engineering
  • Experience of specification, design, installation, commissioning and project management of process and manufacturing equipment
  • Experience in the use of AutoCAD and process automation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively on own initiative and contribute within a team environment
