Process Engineer


Hours of work: Mon-Fri 8am -430pm

As a Process Engineer you will be responsible for providing engineering solutions and aid in the development of process plans, design and material handling methodologies. You will coordinate external contractor installation and actively promote safe working practices across the organisation, providing excellent customer care whilst doing so.


The Job:

  • Apply knowledge of engineering systems to generate specifications and design solutions
  • Identify, evaluate and implement process improvements and energy saving projects
  • Management and implementation of process changes, including installation of utilities and manufacturing equipment
  • Generate technical reports to propose effective solutions to existing plant issues
  • Generate proposals and alternative design schemes, costs for new process equipment, and manufacturing technologies
  • Process lead on studies, preparing reports and flow diagrams
  • Develop documentation and assist with process plant feasibility studies

What You Will Need:

  • 3rd level qualification in Chemical, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering, or equivalentMinimum 3 years’ experience in process engineering
  • Experience of specification, design, installation, commissioning and project management of process and manufacturing equipment
  • Experience in the use of AutoCAD and process automation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
