Payroll Clerk (Lisburn)

VANRATH are pleased to recruiting a Payroll Clerk to join a public sector body in Lisburn. This is a temporary role to cover a period of 3-6 months. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a high volume, fast paced environment, and at least 6 months experience in payroll duties. Preference will be given to candidates who are immediately available or on a one week notice period.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of payroll and payments to employees ensuring all statutory deductions are made.
  • Administration of statutory sick pay scheme, maternity pay and paternity pay
  • Payment of expenses
  • Completion of annual payroll returns
  • Maintenance of Time Management System
  • Dealing effectively with all payroll related queries
  • Administrative support to finance function

The Ideal Person:

  • Previous experience in payroll
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail and good numerical skills

Remuneration

  • c£18,000-£20,000
