Experienced Engineers can now expect to start on a salary of £35,135pa (42.5 hrs/week) There will only be two shifts: One Early | One Late evening • No Nightshifts • No Weekend Working

Our client, a well-established manufacturing organisation is looking to increase its maintenance team by recruiting experienced maintenance engineers/technicians with both electrical and mechanical disciplines.

This is a highly successful company and due to organic growth and acquisition throughout the UK, it is committed to building its maintenance capability further from an existing team of 8 Engineers.   The company sees “engineering” as key to its business success and as a result, is investing heavily in this function.

The Role:

  • Carry out installation, maintenance and repair of all production equipment, minimising downtime and optimising efficiency
  • Maintain electrical and mechanical services through Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
  • Plan and prioritise workload to support production and maximise working time
  • Assist with relocation and installing new and existing machines and equipment

The Person:

  • Candidates should be time-served, ideally with both mechanical and electrical skills/qualifications, though consideration will be given to both mechanical and electrical maintenance engineers.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience within a high volume manufacturing environment
  • 17th Edition certified
  • PLC experience/Control panel diagnostics and schematic drawings
  • Good problem solving ability
