M&E Quantity Surveyor (Consultancy)

 

Location: Dublin City Centre

Level: Intermediate – 3+ years’ experience (contracting or consultancy – Both would be advantageous)

Job Type: Permanent/Full Time

Salary: Generous and above the industry average

 

The Company

This Chartered Surveying practice is adding a new department to their business due to growth in business and demand. The new department will deal specifically with Mechanical and Electrical cost management. This is an exciting chance for an M&E QS with extensive knowledge in the M&E technical and cost management field to take the next step in their career in a striving Dublin PQS. With have such great work on at the moment that they are able to now work on the M&E cost management of their projects as well as the building side of it.

What do you need?

To be successful you will have at least 3-4 years of experience in a consultancy or a contracting basis and have the ability and experience of producing Mechanical and electrical Bill of Quantities.

Required Technical skills

  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical installations (Large commercial and residential projects)
  • Detailed knowledge of mechanical and electrical installation costs
  • Ability to prepare mechanical and electrical installation bill of quantities
  • Value engineering
  • Ability to manage projects
  • Chartered (Preferred but not essential)
  • Presentation skills
