Your new company
Design, manufacture, sales and aftercare of a high end product, exported globally and a brand name synonymous with quality and innovation. They are a leading global supplier to the truck/lift market and locally have a reputation for retaining their people due to good management and investment. The maintenance team is large at over 30 people, so there is plenty of support, but due to continued growth of the product they now need an extra member of the team to decrease downtime and increase product output.
Your new role
In your new role you will be responsible for maintaining all equipment and machinery, carrying out necessary repairs in the production areas and plant facilities. Your new role will involve fault finding, using electrical drawings as an aid and then carrying out permanent repairs and improvements if needed. There will be Preventative Maintenance work lists to be completed along with Dynamic Risk Assessments. Alongside working with a large team you will also be required to liaise with service engineers and contractors on certain problems and work efficiently in conjunction with them.

There will also be an advantage to the candidate that has experience in a welding plant/overhead cranes, and a working knowledge of high voltage distribution systems
