HNH Human Capital are recruiting a property paralegal to join the ranks of a top international law firm based in Belfast. The firm are renowned across a number of key sectors including banking, property, insolvency and commercial litigation. As such, you should have an interest in property ideally and seek to join a company where you will learn as you assist Solicitors and partners carry out their property workloads.


Your new role

As a paralegal, you will be involved in and provide support to the wider conveyancing and property teams. You will assist in preparing case files, provide general office support, prepare reports, contact clients, arrange experts and liaise with property developers, insurance companies and statutory bodies or external organisations. Your role may include dealing with SDLT, registration of Title, carrying out searches and checking registers as well as dealing with post completion duties.

Essential experience

  • Successful paralegals will be able to demonstrate conveyancing experience of 1 year or more in a relevant role.
  • You must have obtained an LLB or qualifying law degree and present with relevant property experience.
  • Ideally you should be a confident paralegal (or legal graduate with experience), capable of working off your own initiative but also blending seamlessly into an established and successful team.
