Lead Data Engineer

MCS Group are delighted to be working with a global Fintech giant, to find and appoint their new Lead Data Engineer. The Role

  • As the Lead Data Engineer you will be supporting the companies Regulatory Data Services, monitoring trading activity to pick up on any malicious intent that may affect the market
  • Developing a variety trading and post-trade solutions whilst supporting the company exchange
  • Internal mobility is huge for this company and the successful candidate will have the chance to work on a variety of projects and technologies
  • You will assist the development of solutions for deployment in the Cloud
  • Managing structured data such as Oracle and unstructured data such as Hadoop

You

  • You will have experience in a lead role, leading various projects
  • Strong RDBMS experience (Oracle is preferred but not essential)
  • A high degree of proficieny in SQL/ PL SQL
  • Knowledge and experience with other ETL tools

Strong knowledge and experience of SDLC methodologies/agile is a big advantage but not essential.
