Client

The client is an market leader in the E-Commerce space in the UK specialising in high value technical items and outstanding levels of customer satisfaction

With continued expansion plans over the next few years the client is keen to secure the very best QA talent and has gained a fantastic reputation for training and development over the last few years.

Responsibilities

As a QA Manual Tester your role will be challenging and varied offering rapid development and exposure to a range of technologies

  • Manual software testing within an agile environment
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings and planning sessions
  • Liaise with the development team to plan and execute test cases
  • Assist with release testing and post implementation checks
  • Utilise a range of manual testing strategies

The Ideal Person

This role would be ideal for an ambitious QA with an interest moving into a word class client that offers long term progression and development

  • A BSc Degree ideally in an IT or STEM subject (minimum 2.1)
  • Experience in a manual testing environment
  • Competent with test planning and strategies
  • Exposure to Oracle ATG would be highly advantageous although not necessary
  • Ambitious, detail oriented, methodological

The ability to work as part of a team and lead from the front and a drive to self-develop are also highly desirable.
