Our client has been actively searching to find an experienced IT Programme Manager.

Being one of the top veterinary pharmaceutical companies in the world, my client is keen to connect with some of Northern Ireland’s top IT management professionals to help them establish and maintain their IT project portfolio.

The Company

Our client has been distributing their products to over 100 countries world wide for almost 50 years. With heavy investment in recent years in research and development, they have been producing their own bespoke products as well as a mixture of generic veterinary pharmaceutical products.

Our client has a clear vision in mind; focusing in on the development of their own products, and the distribution of industry standard products.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • BSc in Computer Science, Information systems, Business administration OR 10 years experience in an IT related management role.
  • Project management background (Prince 2 qualified).
  • Experience dealing with customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering large-scale IT projects.

Desirable criteria:

  • Experience working with industry recognised architecture framework (TOGAF/ Zachman or equivalent)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified.

The Role

As an IT programme manager, you will be expected to establish and maintain IT project portfolios as well as support the development of project charters, business cases, scope statements, risk assessments, budgets, resource plans and reviews/audits as needed.

You will follow GmP guidelines when undertaking and managing programs and projects to meet expectations of company standards.

Facilitating the professional development of the program management team will be key to succeed in this role. You will develop and follow current SOPs, methods and tools while following standard Gxp requirements.
