HR Business Partner
At Kerry Foods we are passionate about Food! We are also passionate about our values and our people. This is because we know our people are key to delivering the quality and innovation our customers and consumers demand. To ensure we continue to deliver a consistent and efficient advice service to our 6000 people throughout our operations, we have created an HR Business Partner model working with a number of Shared Service HR hubs throughout the UK and Ireland to support the operations and head office. We are currently recruiting a job for an HR Business Partner to support our sites in Carrickmacross, County Monaghan and Enniskillen, County Fermanagh. Working closely with the HR Shared Services, Centres of Excellence and Managers you will truly business partner our leaders to develop and evolve their teams and business. This role is offered on a maternity cover basis so is a Fixed Term Contract.
As HR Business Partner you will be a key member of a high energy and ambitious team, driving our overall people agenda in partnership with site senior leadership teams with a real focus on culture and engagement. You will deliver people aspects of any change programmes and manage any high risk industrial relations issues. The role will ensure that winning hearts and minds is at the forefront of the functional agenda and support the leaders and managers to have great people conversations so that they can be inspiring site leaders and within the business. Your job will also involve managing the talent process, ensuring talent conversations are a live dialogue with a key input into people decisions to manage our talent and risks for the business. You will also support the business teams being agile to respond to business and market needs, to constantly drive the cost and people agenda.
Who are we looking for?
Well at Kerry we look for people that really embrace our values and our culture. Of course we need you to have the skills to do your job as well but we will support and encourage you to continue your personal and professional development during your career with us.
For this role we are ideally looking for you to have had experience as an HR Business Partner and have ideally had experience in a manufacturing (or related industry such as logistics, construction) environment previously with good knowledge of unionized environments. You should be able to coach, challenge and influence leaders and shape the people agenda through building excellent relationships. You should have drive and determination and a continuous improvement mindset.
It goes without saying that strong interpersonal and relationship building skills go a long way in our business so you’ll need to demonstrate this through our process. If you’ve got experience in an FMCG or manufacturing business – great – but you have to have a demonstrable track record in adding real value through People initiatives and be a real team player.
Sounds great right?!
Joining us means working in a fast, agile and ambitious environment, with talented people who really care about what they do. We’re hungry for new ideas, so we’ll always listen to yours. And because we’re always looking to the future, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.
