Group HR Officer, 6 month Fixed term contract, job. Leading, multi-site employer in the County Antrim area. Immediate start available. Attractive salary.

Our County Antrim based Client is a highly successful, multi-site, market leader and they wish to recruit an experienced HR Officer.  This is a fixed term contract HR Officer job, for a 6 month duration, possibly longer.  The successful HR generalist will join a busy HR team, based at the headquarters in County Antrim, providing professional guidance to Managers and employees and ensuring compliance and best practice.  Travel will be required to other locations across NI for recruitment and employee relations activities.

 

The Role:

  • First point of contact for all HR queries, assisting Managers with policies and procedures
  • Facilitate disciplinary and grievance meetings and carry out investigations, where applicable.
  • Provide advice and guidance on best practice in performance management and capability issues
  • Management of flexible working requests
  • Management and administration of recruitment exercises
  • Attendance management, review of absences in relation to triggers, referrals to occupational health etc
  • Production of employee contracts
  • Ad hoc research and preparation of HR projects

 

The Person:

  • 3rd level qualification
  • Associate CIPD, desirable
  • Recent relevant HR generalist experience in the areas above, recruitment, employee relations, advising etc
  • Drivers licence and access to transport, essential
