Full Stack C# Developer
Would you like to join a new eCommerce centre of excellence that has been established here in Belfast? Join a company that has major expansion plans to support its growth strategy across its entire product portfolio to attract more clients in Ireland, the UK and the USA.
Who is the company?
My client is a cloud-based software provider that has been operating out of Belfast for 30 years. They were acquired by an American company a couple of years ago who put plans in place to establish a new research and development facility in Belfast which will see them taking on 50 more IT staff over coming months; including the establishment of an eCommerce centre of excellence.
This investment is part of a larger strategy to expand the customer base in the UK. Cloud computing is a rapidly emerging industry with significant export potential. This trend has seen a growing cluster of software investors choosing to grow their business in Northern Ireland.
What does this job involve?
Before my client was acquired, they had acquired a significant amount of the Irish market in their sector. This job is within a new software development team that will be producing products solely for the UK market. They have two people the team now who are supported by software teams in the US and in Brighton.
In this job, you will work in an Agile team to help develop and maintain innovative software solutions in line with the mentioned strategy. My client is a strong believer in Test Driven Development and passionate4 about refactoring clean code and continuous integration.
The typical technology stack includes C#, ASP.NET MVC/Angular, and SQL. Team Foundation Server and Git for source control, Team City for continuous integration. You will work alongside other development teams, automation/manual testers and DevOps on business applications.
