Finance Administrator (Holywood)

VANRATH are pleased to be recruiting for a Public Sector organisation for a Finance Administrator within banking, based in their Holywood office on a permanent basis. The Finance Administrator will be required to support this busy department and will gain excellent experience. This role also comes with excellent work/life balance with a flexible working environment.

Responsibilities:

Duties include:

  • Maintain up to date files of all bank statements and banking correspondence
  • Assist in the investigation, identification, coding and recording of ad hoc receipts and payments
  • Undertake regular reconciliations of all bank accounts
  • Assist in the maintenance of records and processing of transactions pertaining to credit card expenditure
  • Act as the administrative liaison with bank relationship teams
  • Deal with external and internal queries via phone and mail as requested
  • Any other duties as required

The Ideal Person:

  • Good general level of education to include at least five GCSEs (at a minimum of Grade C) to include English and Maths or equivalent

OR

  • QCF Level II (previously NVQ) in Business Administration or equivalent level qualification

AND

  • One year’s recent administration experience working in an office environment
  • Excellent level of IT literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office packages , to include word processing and experience in the use of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets including the production of graphs, charts and pivot tables
  • Experience working within a finance environment would be desirable

Remuneration:

£17,000 – £19,000
