The role

The role of Directories Coordinator will join the Legal Directories Service Team in Belfast to increase efficiency and apply best practice across all submissions so that the firm achieves better outcomes, produce higher quality and more consistent directory submissions.

Typical duties will include:

  • Running the day to day legal directory process – working closely with the Directories Manager to manage large components of the Firm’s legal directory process.
  • Writing, templating and coordinating submissions, ensuring best practice is consistently applied.
  • Interviewing partners to gather information on deals work.
  • Managing the interview process – liaising with the various directory researches for feedback and to set up interviews for the Firm’s global and regional practice groups.
  • Providing guidance to practice groups and advising on best practice for submissions and interviews. Maintaining the relevant intranet pages.
  • Identifying under performing practices and working with them to improve their position.
  • Building close relationships with directory editors and researchers to ensure that the team are kept up to date on any changes.
  • Reporting results back to the business.

Please note some travel will be required with this role.

Essential Criteria

  • Graduate, in particular from a legal, marketing or Business related degree.
  • 1+ year’s experience in an administrative related role.
  • Good MS Office proficiency.
  • Experience working in professional services preferred.

Package

This is a full time, permanent position. Salary is up to £19K with a competitive benefits package.
