As Dispatch Manager you will be responsible in controlling the workflow of employees, keeping track of each employee’s productivity in the warehouse and to coordinating all dispatch thus ensuring all goods are processed so that all KPI’s are adhered to.
Avondale is a leading food processing company of Fresh and Chilled products supplying a range of leading retail businesses such as Marks & Spencers and Waitrose and Morrisons in the UK & Ireland. Avondale Foods now wish to recruit an experienced Dispatch Manager.
The role of Dispatch Manager requires a combination of hard and soft skills to be successful, hence the candidate must be able to show they are an experienced, highly motivated and an organised individual who will be joining a team of commercially aware people who focus on achieving targets.
The Dispatch manager will oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of finished goods. They will also ensure the workplace complies with health and safety requirements, and make sure all staff comply with the procedures that are currently in place. They ensure productivity targets are met and maintain stock accuracy through the computerised administration storage and retrieval systems. They will manage teams of workers and deal with personnel issues such as the recruitment, training and discipline of staff.

The package will be structured between a basic salary with attractive commission structure, laptop, phone and company pension.
