To oversee Exchange Traded Derivatives and OTC Derivative teams in an offshore location, ensuring daily accounting is accurate and timely for NAV production and that reporting is accurate.

Job Purpose:

 

 

 

  • To oversee Exchange Traded Derivatives and OTC Derivative teams in an offshore location, ensuring daily accounting is accurate and timely for NAV production and that reporting is accurate.
  • To provide SME support for the ETD/CFD/OTC offshore teams.
  • To chair oversight and client/broker calls and monitor KPIs.
  • To complete CFD resets and ETD margins/FXs processes.
  • To process OTC trades and lifecycle events into the fund accounting system.
  • To complete regular reporting for clients.
  • To have a role in delivering client change and process improvement.
  • To provide Citi’s clients with the highest level of service possible for derivatives.


 

Job Background/context:

 

 

 

The Derivatives Oversight team oversees the ETD/CFD team and OTC teams in offshore locations. The team consists of eight team members.

 

The Derivatives Oversight team services our clients by ensuring that all derivative instruments are accounted for within the accounting system. It also ensures that all required monitoring and reporting requirements are carried out in a timely and accurate manner.

 

The team ensures that offshore teams are completing tasks in an accurate and timely manner and assists with queries in an SME capacity. They also perform some processing and reporting tasks locally.

 

The team oversees any changes that are implemented for client projects.

 


Key Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Oversee the offshore CFD/ETD team and OTC teams to ensure that KPIs are being met.
  • Chair regular oversight calls and ensure that all issues are monitored and resolved.
  • Chair regular client and broker calls and drive their requirements.
  • Provide SME advice for the offshore teams.
  • Ensure CFD resets and ETD margins/FXs are completed by due deadlines.
  • Process OTC trades and lifecycle events and ensure accounting is accurate.
  • Perform OTC reconciliations with vendor and middle office data.
  • Produce client month end reports in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Monitor daily deliverables and drive through efficiency and process improvement.
  • Maintain a strong control environment across the team.
  • Support activities relating to the extensive pipeline of change activity for clients.
  • Develop strong, pro-active working relationships with all internal and external customers, co-ordinating remote teams and external vendors.
  • Provide professional support to identified areas of the business and share specialist knowledge with colleagues and clients.
  • Maintain own standards of excellence and keep up to date with the latest industry developments.

Knowledge/Experience:

 

• Experience of working in a fund administration or middle office environment essential.
• Experience of servicing derivatives products desirable.
• Experience of accounting, valuation and/or administration of derivatives.
• Experience of having worked on technical projects desirable.
