Credit control professional Salary negotiable Monday to Friday

Gentech are recruiting an Accounts Clerk for our client, a well-known business based near Ballymoney. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established finance team in a supportive capacity.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales ledger invoice posting
  • Daily receipts posting
  • Full electronic document management
  • Credit control on a daily basis primarily by phone and email
  • Monthly processing of statements of account
  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • Sales ledger reporting to internal stakeholders periodically
  • Petty cash reconciliations including coding and posting to the accounting system
  • General assistance in wider accounts activity to support annual leave and busy periods
  • Weekly banking of cheques

Skills:

  • Recent use of finance systems
  • Meeting strict deadlines
  • Confident user of IT including good MS Excel skills
  • Ability to detect inconsistencies and recover from error
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately processing large volumes of invoices and receipts
  • Willingness to learn and take instruction

The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter. With strong attention to detail and good communication skills. Hours are 9 – 5pm Monday – Friday with free on-site parking.
