MCS Group has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Tax Manager to join a market leading organisation at the height of its success. Offering progression for career driven individuals and flexible working options for those looking for a better work-life balance.

The Company:

This is an exciting time for the firm as the tax team has consistently seen their tax business grow year on year and shows no sign of stopping. This firm invests in cutting edge technology that reduces administrative and data entry work, so you can fully utilise your consultancy skills and abilities. This is a unique opportunity that offers you both the support and autonomy to progress your career in tax.

The Role:

You will be a key player in the consultancy offering, specialising in large corporate clients including privately-owned business and multinational groups. You will be the main point of contact for clients, managing client relationships and being made accountable for controlling workflow and deadlines. You will be sharing business and economic issues with clients that may have an effect on their industry while providing innovative ideas and solutions to encourage business improvement. You will be liaising with tax specialists across the business, so you will be kept up-to-date on tax policies and procedures and, thus, offering the best advice and service to clients.

Key Benefits:

  • Competitive salary package with a range of benefits and choices
  • Bi-annual reviews to speed up your career development
  • Flexible working options to work in a way that suits you
  • Cutting edge technology to reduce preparatory work

The Person:

You must be a qualified accountant or tax advisor (ACA, ACCA, CTA, etc.) with a strong background in corporate tax. You will have strong technical skills with the ability to plan and prioritise work. You will ideally have previous consultancy experience; however, candidates from a compliance background will also be considered if you can demonstrate that you are comfortable building and maintaining client relationships, providing excellent customer service and identifying further business opportunities.

I am keen to have an initial discussion with anyone who feels this role could potentially be of interest. Please contact Caroline Gaughan, Specialist Consultant at MCS Group or send an up to date CV via the link provided to speak further about this opportunity.
