Commercial Account Handler - Belfast - Highly competitive salary plus pension, private medical insurance and professional exam support

This regional insurance brokers have been providing personal and commercial insurance solutions to their clients across the province for over 15 years. They are looking to recruit a Commercial Account Handler for their Belfast office as a result of growth.

This is a great role for an existing Account Handler to join a highly experienced team of insurance professional as they seek to grow their business. The Role:

  • Providing quotations and arranging new business.
  • Processing and broking renewals promptly and efficiently and maintaining renewal retention rates.
  • Working collectively towards team targets i.e. new business, renewals etc.
  • Dealing effectively with customers’ needs, e.g. handling adjustments, renewals and any other queries which may arise.
  • Provision of excellent customer service.
  • Dealing with all commercial clients in a professional manner.
  • Assisting and supporting the Account Executives
  • Handling of customer complaints in accordance with company procedures.

The Person:

  • Must evidence experience operating as an Account Handler in a broker or insurer environment.
  • Ideally you will already have attained or will be working towards the CII qualification.
  • Ideally you will have knowledge of a wide range of commercial insurance products; experienced personal lines candidates will also be considered.
  • Possesses the energy, enthusiasm and ability to work within a demanding environment that requires a hands-on approach

The Rewards:

  • £20,000 – £28,000 DOE.
