Your new company
You will be joining a leading Northern Irish consultancy who pride themselves on providing a high quality service, with innovative design and attention to detail. Working within a wide variety of schemes, their multi-disciplinary teams have established an outstanding reputation and considered one of the premier consultancies in the province. They are now seeking to support the business though the creation of a new role for a designated Business Development Manager.

Your new role
You will join the practice at a senior level and will work closely with the management team to identify suitable tender opportunities through various channels. You will work with a large degree of autonomy to develop highly structured, detailed and persuasive bid responses. As the Business Development Manager you will deliver high quality PQQ and tender submissions across the built environment, infrastructure, public health and marine / river sectors.

What you’ll need to succeed
You should hold a degree in a construction related discipline, ideally Civil Engineering or similar with strong commercial skills and business acumen. You should be able to display excellent technical writing ability, have strong organisational skills and be fully IT literate. Additionally you should be an accomplished relationship builder and a confident and effective communicator.
