VANRATH are proud to have an Exclusive opportunity for an ambitious QA Engineer to join an industry leading Client as they set up their brand new team here in Northern Ireland

Client

The client is an internationally recognised brand who provides bespoke work-flow solutions for business from consultation though to delivery, using automation technologies maximising efficiency. They are currently in the process of setting up a brand new office in Belfast.

With ambitious expansion plans over the next few years the client is keen to secure the very best QA talent

Responsibilities

As a QA Engineer your role will be challenging and varied offering rapid development and exposure to a wide range of technologies

  • Work closely with Development teams agreeing solutions and test plans
  • Gain exposure to new technologies in a Agile environment
  • Utilise a mixture of manual and automated test strategies
  • Ensure automation code is clean and well constructed

The Ideal Person

This role would be ideal for an ambitious QA with an interest moving into a word class client that offers long term progression and development

  • A BSc Degree ideally in an IT or STEM subject
  • 5+ years experience in a Software development or QA automation
  • Solid coding ability in at least one language ie. Java, C#, Python
  • Experience with Ruby would is highly desirable
  • Competent with test frameworks ie. Selenium, Cucumber, TestSuite
  • Ambitious, detail oriented, methodological

The ability to work as part of a team and lead from the front and a drive to self-develop are also highly desirable.
