Ballymena Credit Union are recruiting.

Teller / Member Services Assistant

This position is on a full time permanent basis, and will comprise of 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Saturday). The role will involve cash handling, dealing directly with the public and general administration duties. 

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’s passed at grade C or above including Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 1 years experience cash handling/accounting and lodgements in a financial services/banking organisation gained within the last 5 years.
  • Excellent computer literacy, experienced in all aspects of Microsoft Office and excellent numerical skills.
  • Able to work flexible hours to ensure business needs are met.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent oral and written skills.
  • Excellent customer relations skills and a demonstrable experience of managing customer expectations.

Desirable Criteria:

  • 2 A levels at grade C or above.
  • Knowledge of Credit Union principles and ethics.
