Our client, a well-established and successful manufacturer of a diverse range of high quality products for the construction industry, is now looking to recruit an experienced Surfacing Engineer for their Tarmac Division.

Our client, a well-established and successful manufacturer of a diverse range of high quality products for the construction industry, is now looking to recruit an experienced Surfacing Engineer for their Tarmac Division.

The Role:

Reporting to the Divisional Manager and responsible for a team of Site Supervisors, the post-holder will be required to:

  • Assist with the daily duties of managing the Tarmac squads
  • Review drawings, quantities etc, ensuring calculations and measurements for both private and public works are correct
  • Undertake surveying, setting out and site supervision work while keeping records of all site activities

The role will also involve Roadworks Management, Traffic Management and liaising with local Councils.  You will ensure all Health & Safety Rules and Regulations are adhered to.

The Person:

Ideal candidates will be third level qualified in Civil Engineering and have at least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar management/leadership role along with strong customer facing skills.

  • An attractive remuneration package is on offer to the successful candidate, which will include bonus, pension etc.    Salary will be negotiable dependent on experience.
