Your new company
This company is a leading local consultancy offering Civil & Structural Engineer, Project Management and Architectural services to a wide variety of local and national clients across the public and private sectors. As one of the largest local consultancies they have developed the expertise to deliver projects across the infrastructure, water/wastewater, residential, commercial and environmental sectors. They are now seeking to recruit an experienced Structural Engineering Technician.
Your new role
You will be join an established team of structural engineers and technicians who have grown considerably in recent years. Current project workload covers the education, leisure, residential and industrial sectors throughout Northern Ireland and the UK. You will play a key role within the design team and will work closely with structural engineers, in house architects and other members of the design team to produce highly detailed design drawings.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be considered for the role you should have a strong background in Civil / Structural Engineering (HND preferred) and have considerable experience working within a design consultancy. It is essential that you have strong knowledge of producing general arrangement drawings and reinforced concrete schedules, while some exposure to Revit would be an advantage. Your project portfolio should demonstrate a knowledge of all the main structural materials.
