Sales Manager - Asset Finance Excellent Package - North West territory

VANRATH is seeking to appoint a highly commercial and target driven Sales Manager for a prestigious commercial finance firm. The main function of this role is to develop new business via an extensive client book, dealer introducers and proactively targeting new customers within the SME market.

The key to this role is the ability to provide innovative solutions to your clients, building long term relationships and closing deals effectively.

The Job

  • Proactively source sales within an allocated geographical location
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve / exceed targets set
  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with existing and new customers
  • Act as a contact between the company and its existing and potential markets, negotiating terms of an agreement and closing sales, gathering market and customer information
  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  • Record and report on accurate sales information
  • Produce accurate, rapid quotations and provide customers with the relevant information to close the deal
  • Ensure that all governance and compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required

The Person

  • Previous knowledge and experience of commercial lending
  • Highly driven and tenacious individual with a strong desire to succeed
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Competitive with a strong desire to generate revenue
  • Ability to think on their feet to deliver solutions
  • Strong ability to plan and organise
  • An excellent communicator with a direct and open style
  • Must be willing to travel within a pre-defined geographical area
