The role of the Quality Compliance Manager is integral to the success of the Quality Department in delivering expert advice and ensuring release of clinical supplies, in line with customer expectations and regulatory demands.

The Role

The role of the Quality Compliance Manager is integral to the success of the Quality Department in delivering expert advice and ensuring release of clinical supplies, in line with customer expectations and regulatory demands.  The Quality Compliance Manager will assist the Clinical Services Qualified Persons, ensuring that finished products are not released from Clinical Services until their quality has been judged to be satisfactory as measured against specifications and regulatory requirements.

Essential Criteria

  • Honours Degree (or above) in a scientific (Biology, Pharmacy, or Chemistry) or related discipline
  • Knowledge in the manufacture of pharmaceutical dosage forms e.g. tablets, sterile injectable products, biological products
  • Proficiency in managing multiple tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy in all work carried out
  • Experience in processing a high volume of technical information to condense into simplified elements

Desirable Criteria

(The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exist)

  • Honours Degree (or above) in a scientific (Biology, Pharmacy, or Chemistry) or related discipline 2.2 or above
  • Experience in the manufacture of pharmaceutical dosage forms e.g. tablets, sterile injectable products, biological products
  • Experience of auditing suppliers, API, laboratories or dosage form manufacturers
