Purchase Ledger Clerk (Newry)

VANRATH are pleased to be recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Administrator to join an extremely very well known construction company based out of their office in Newry. The successful candidate will be responsible for all supplier invoicing, payments and dealing with account queries. While this is a temporary role for an initial period of 6 months, there is a very high chance this will be made permanent within that time frame for the right candidate. This is an immediate requirement so priority will be given to immediately available candidates/candidates with one week notice periods.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurate and timely matching, batching and coding of supplier invoices
  • Recording of information to the purchase ledger
  • Ensure invoices are processed for payments
  • Ensure payments are accurately calculated and VAT correctly charged
  • Ensure BACS payments are made as required
  • Running purchase ledger reports as required for month and year end
  • Any other duties as required

The Ideal Person:

  • Ideally 1 year worth of experience in a similar sized company
  • Good numeracy and literacy skill
  • Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook

Remuneration

£20,000-£23,000
