PT Estimator required for a range of projects in the Mid Ulster area on a Part Time basis.

Our client is an established company with over 20 years of experience in the building industry, specialising in a range of building services from new build homes to property maintenance.  Their wide experience helps them provide bespoke solutions for all property requirements, residential or commercial. Their work is of the highest calibre; in the past, bespoke projects have included the refurbishment of listed buildings working closely with the Heritage Society, and they take pride in our cutting-edge design service for new builds and inventive renovations.

They now wish to appoint a suitable qualified and experienced PT Estimator for a range of projects in the Mid Ulster area.

Role Profile:

Estimators combine site experience with quantity surveying skills.  You must be a self-starter as you are often required to make judgements/assessments in relation to budget costs.  You will work closely with other professionals including construction managers, planners and design teams, so team working skills are essential.

Essential criteria:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of the construction industry
  • Commercial acumen and a mind capable of financial analysis.
  • Strong Maths and IT skills are essential
  • Strong problem-solving ability and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate well, verbally and in writing, and be able to manage projects.
  • Organisational and presentation skills
